Meals on Wheels is enhancing lives through healthy meals and friendly human contact. Nurturing elders and people with disabilities at one of five dining sites, or meals delivered to the home.

Dining sites temporarily closed
Meals on Wheels has temporarily shut down its five congregate dining sites across the county. All seniors previously receiving meals at dining sites have been given the option for home-delivered meals. In addition we are delivering breakfast meal packs to the most vulnerable seniors.

Food Distribution for Homeless Seniors
Monday – Friday 11:00AM – 12:30PM
Louden Nelson Community Center, Santa Cruz
Homeless individuals over the age of 60 may pick up lunch and a shelf stable dinner meal daily. Seniors are required to practice social distancing when picking up meals and are not allowed to access the building to use the bathrooms.

Applications for home-delivered meals
Anyone over the age of 60 is now eligible to receive home-delivered meals through Meals on Wheels of Santa Cruz County, regardless of income level. A suggested donation of $2.50 per meal is requested, but no senior will be denied if they do not have the ability to pay.
